Should I Fear Prosperity?

Are You Finding The Blessings are Stacking Up So Much That You are Forgetting God?

In Deuteronomy God warns his people not to forget Him when they became wealthy and successful and to always acknowledge it was God who gave them the ability to create wealth. This remains a timely warning today. When things are bad we seek God but when things are going well we can easily forget Him

Some questions to consider

  • Have you had some success yet find that while your wallet is getting fatter, your soul is starving?
  • Are you concerned that if God blesses your financially that it might corrupt you? King Solomon felt the same when he said in Proverbs 30:7-9 “O God, I beg two favours from you; let me have them before I die. First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs. For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say, “Who is the LORD?” And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus insult God’s holy name.”

Concerned to address this important issue Darren Laudenbach from GMM has studied the Bible to look for keys to help Christians handle wealth the right way. In his courses Darren looks at topics like:

  • Can you be sure you won’t end up like the rich young ruler in Matthew 19?
  • Discover how to identify and avoid the 10 signs that “spirit of mammon” has it’s hold on you
  • Ensure you do not forfeit your soul for the riches and temptations of this world
  • Four Ways to bring Contentment into your life… as godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6)
